Warm, nourishing drinks are important when you're Fasting

The Do's and Dont’s of Fasting - Tips to make the Fasting process easier.

  1. Keep warm, especially the kidney area.

  2. The addition of irish moss powder or kelp powder into the savoury broth is recommended if your thyroid function is low. Click here to check your thyroid function.

  3. Consume plenty of warm nourishing fluids throughout the day.

  4. Take a gentle walk in nature.

  5. Schedule a massage or take a scented bath.

  6. Meditate each day of the fast to allow the inevitable flow of creative and abundant ideas.

  7. Remember to only eat light foods after the fast, especially the first few days, to allow your digestive system to adjust to solid foods again.

  8. Please do NOT keep working as usual, even if you have a sedentary job.

  9. Please do NOT just consume only water, especially if you intend to Fast for more than 1 day. See attached easy recipes for proper nourishment while fasting. 

  10. Please do NOT fast if you have a cold or are just getting over one.

  11. Do NOT fast if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
